Meet Our Staff
Theresa Wiegand-SwihartMS, OTR/CHT
Theresa is a Certified Hand Therapist. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University, followed by a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Indianapolis in 1995.
In 2001, Theresa developed a state of the art rehabilitation program and now heads our Occupational Therapy department. Theresa has unbeatable experience in the successful treatment of patients who need upper body/extremity rehabilitation.
Theresa is also the Director of Swihart Conferences through which she provides continuing education to colleagues in the design and fabrication of orthotic splints.
Prior to developing the Occupational Therapy program at BBJ, Theresa was employed at Bloomington Hospital's REBOUND and Sports Medicine, as a treating and Lead OT where she facilitated the development of Occupational Therapy for all of the REBOUND locations.
Theresa is a member of The American Occupational Therapy Association, The American Society of Hand Therapists, The Indiana Occupational Therapy Association and Pi Theta Epsilon Honor Society for Occupational Therapy students. Theresa and her husband Steve, have one son, Sam. In her free time Theresa is advancing toward the completion of a certification to teach Pilates in the Joseph Pilates Method.

Kathilyn TeagueOTR/L, CHT
Kathi is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy and has been practicing for over 17 years. She is a highly qualified specialist in upper extremity rehabilitation. Kathi moved to Bloomington in 2009 and has worked for Bloomington Bone & Joint Clinic, P.C. since 2010.
Jeff Headdy, physical therapist, is from the Monroe County area. He is a graduate of the University of Evansville with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy. Jeff has extensive experience in orthopedics and sports medicine. Jeff has held various positions around the country working with professional, college, and high school sports teams. He had a private practice in Owensboro, KY for 10 years with emphasis on orthopedic physical therapy and was Director of IMA's physical therapy department for 7 years. Jeff is married to Andrea. They have four children: Chandler, Emma, Gabe and Mack. In his spare time, Jeff enjoys coaching baseball and playing golf.
Mike SandersonPT, CSCS
Mike, a native of North Dakota, has resided in Bloomington since 1992. He earned his degrees in exercise science (1989) and physical therapy (1991) from the University of North Dakota. Mike practiced acute care physical therapy in South Dakota prior to accepting a position in orthopedic physical therapy and sports medicine at Bloomington Hospital's REBOUND in 1992. Mike spent 14 years with REBOUND in staff and lead therapist positions prior to joining the team of Bloomington Bone and Joint clinic in 2006 to head our physical therapy department. Mike specializes in outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine with a special interest in knees and shoulders. Mike is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and is a certified strength and conditioning specialist. Mike is married to Amy and away from work enjoys hiking and golfing.
